Hi, i'm Miller.

i build websites for small businesses, and i do it for free.

i grew up helping out with my grandmother's small business, and i've seen how much a little help can mean to a business that doesn't have thousands of dollars lying around for a website.

i build your website for free, but hosting and your domain still cost money.

These aren't extra fees i made up. Every website needs hosting and a domain to be online, no matter who builds it, so they're costs you'd have either way. Hosting is $19.99 a month if you'd like me to take care of it (or whatever another host charges if you'd rather go somewhere else), and your domain is something you buy and own yourself, which usually costs about $10 to $25 a year. What does this mean?

There's no long-term contract, you get your site files before you pay me a dime, and the only strings are a small footer credit and that i might show your site in my portfolio.

  • The build is free

i handle the design, the build, and the words for your site at no cost to you.

  • It's yours to keep

You get a zip of your website files the day it's done, before you pay anything.

  • Hosting with me is optional

If you want me to take care of hosting, it's $19.99 a month, which is the same price as an ad-free Netflix account.

  • First draft within 7 days

Once your spot on the waitlist opens and i have your photos and logo, my goal is to get your first draft to you within a week, and if i'm ever running behind, i'll tell you.

My story

Why i build websites for free

My background is in marketing, and i got started young. When i was growing up, i helped out with my grandmother's small business by taking photos, running the social media, and making graphics, and that's where i learned how much a little help can mean to a business that doesn't have a big budget.

These days i have a day job, so i build websites on the side, on weekends under the moonlight. The site i'm proudest of so far is the one i built for Dive Bar, my in-laws' restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, and you can check it out a little further down this page.

Over the years i've watched a lot of small businesses get overcharged for websites, and it never sat right with me. A good website shouldn't cost you thousands of dollars you don't have, so i decided to build websites for free and only make money on hosting and edits from the people who actually want them.

i handle every site from start to finish, i don't pass the work off to anyone else, and i don't start from a template, so your site is built just for your business.

How it works

From the waitlist to a finished website

The whole thing happens over email, so you can do most of it from your phone in between customers.

  1. Join the waitlist

Fill out the short form at the bottom of this page with your name, your email, your business name, and what your business does. It takes about a minute.

  2. Fill out the intake form

i'll email you a link to my intake form, which is a Google Form that asks about your business, the look you're going for, and what you want your site to do. When you're done, reply to my email with your logo and photos attached.

  3. You're officially in line

Once your intake form is in, you're officially on the waitlist. i'll email you every two weeks to let you know where you are in line, so you never have to wonder.

  4. i build your first draft

When your spot opens and i have your photos and logo, i'll have a first draft ready for you within 7 days. From there, you get up to 5 free rounds of revisions to get it just the way you want it.

  5. Your site is done

i'll send you a preview link and a link to download your website files, which are yours to keep no matter what. Then you decide whether i take care of hosting or you take it anywhere you like.

Who it's for

Is this a good fit for you?

It's a great fit if...

You need a fast, free website that won't need a lot of changes once it's up. That covers a lot of small businesses, like these:

  • Home servicesContractors, plumbers, landscapers, cleaners, pool service, and HVAC.
  • Food and drinkRestaurants, bars, food trucks, cafes, and caterers.
  • Beauty and wellnessSalons, barbers, nail techs, massage therapists, personal trainers, and yoga teachers.
  • Pros, creatives, and nonprofitsPhotographers, coaches, consultants, realtors, therapists, nonprofits, and churches.

If you want more than that down the road, i also have retainer options with unlimited edits, and you can ask me about retainers anytime.

It's probably not a fit if...

  • You need an online storei don't build online stores or sites that sell products through checkout.
  • You're a large companyi build for small businesses, so bigger companies with bigger needs are better off with an agency.
  • You need logins or membershipsWeb apps, customer accounts, and member areas are outside of what i build. Linking out to the tools you already use is a different story, though, and i can easily add buttons that send people to your online ordering on Toast, Shift4, or Square, your booking page on Vagaro, Booksy, or Calendly, your reservations on OpenTable or Resy, or your menu on DoorDash and Uber Eats.
  • You want to edit the site yourselfYour site is custom built in code, so there's no drag-and-drop builder, and updates take someone who knows code. i'm happy to be that person, but if you want to make your own changes every week, a site builder is probably a better fit for you.

What a free site doesn't include

To keep the free build free, a few things are outside of it: a blog that i post to for you on a regular basis, complicated custom features or integrations, and sites in more than one language. Send me a message and we can talk about what's doable!

Why custom built

Built to be timeless

Most website builders let you drag and drop your way to a site, which is handy, but it usually means extra code you don't need, plugins and platform updates that can break things, and a platform that's hard to leave. Your site is built in plain, clean code instead, the same kind of code that's been working in every web browser for decades, so it ages well and comes with some real perks for you.

  • No drag-and-drop builder

Your site doesn't sit on top of a builder, so it isn't carrying around a bunch of extra code your customers have to wait on.

  • Clean HTML

The code is simple and tidy, which makes your site easy for browsers and search engines to read and easy for any web developer to work on later.

  • Fast and lightweight

Your pages are small and load quickly, which matters when someone is looking you up on their phone in a parking lot.

  • Built to score high on Google PageSpeed Insights

PageSpeed Insights is Google's free tool for checking how well a page loads, and i aim for a high score on every site i make.

  • Mobile-friendly

Most of your customers will find you on their phone, so every site is designed for phones first and then make sure everything looks just as good on tablets and computers.

  • No platform lock-in

You're not tied to me or to any website company, so you can move your site to any host you want, whenever you want.

  • You own it

When it's done, you get a zip of all your website files, and you can keep them, move them, or hand them to another developer whenever you want.

  • Not a template

Your site is designed around your business, so it won't look like a thousand other sites that started from the same template.

  • Not outsourced

The person you're emailing is the same person doing the work, because i don't hand any of it off to anyone else.

The one trade-off is that you can't log in and edit it yourself, but that's what i'm here for, and i quote every edit upfront so you always know the price before i start.

Pricing

Your website is free, and hosting is up to you.

There's no long-term contract, and your site files are yours either way. If you'd like me to take care of hosting, here's what that costs, along with a few extras you can add if you need them.

Website hosting

Optional
Billing period

$19.99/month

It's billed monthly through Square and renews each month until you cancel.

$219.89/yearSave $19.99

That's like getting one month free. It's billed once a year through Square and renews each year until you cancel, and if you cancel partway through a year, your hosting stays on until that year is up, but i don't refund the unused months.

What's included

  • Fast global hosting
  • SSL security (the little padlock next to your web address)
  • Backups of your site
  • No long-term contract, and you can cancel anytime

If something breaks on my end, i fix it free.

What counts as my end?
My end, so i fix it for free:
  • Your site goes down because of hosting.
  • Your SSL security padlock expires.
  • There's a bug in the code i delivered.
  • A contact form i set up stops working.
  • An edit i made breaks something.
Not my end:
  • Problems with your domain account or the DNS settings there.
  • Forgetting to renew your domain.
  • Outside tools changing on their end, like booking apps, Google reviews widgets, or social feeds.
  • Changes someone else made to your site.
  • New content or new features, which are paid edits.

If you cancel, your hosting stays on through the end of the month or year you've already paid for, and i don't refund partial months or years except in the few situations listed in my Terms.

Add-ons and services

Everything extra is optional, like a custom contact form, connecting your domain, Google and Bing setup. See all add-ons and prices

What to expect

What to expect, start to finish

i'd rather you know exactly how this works before you sign up, so i've laid the whole thing out below.

The timeline

From your first form to your finished site, this is how it goes:

  1. You join the waitlist using the short form on this page.
  2. i email you a link to my intake form. If it slips your mind, i'll send you a reminder at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days, and then i'll leave you alone.
  3. Once your intake is in, you're officially on the waitlist, and i'll email you every two weeks with your spot in line.
  4. When your spot opens and i have your photos and logo, i'll send you a first draft within 7 days.
  5. You send me your feedback and i make the changes, for up to 5 rounds.
  6. When it's done, i'll email you your preview link, your website files, and your hosting options.
What i need from you
  • Your answers to the intake form, with as much detail as you can give me, since that's what your whole site is built from.
  • Your own photos and your logo, sent by replying to my email. i don't use stock photos, and Gmail has a 25MB limit per email, so a big batch might take a few emails.
  • A domain that you buy yourself, before your site goes live.
  • Your feedback on the draft, sent as one list for each revision round.
How revisions work

One revision is one round of feedback, which means you send me one list with all of your changes and i make them all. You get up to 5 free rounds on your first build. Before you send a list, it helps to check with anyone else who has a say, like a business partner, so all the changes come in together. Once i send you the email saying your website is done, any more changes become paid edits instead of revisions, so it's worth using your rounds before you tell me you're happy with it.

When your site is done

You'll get an email from me saying your website is done, and it'll have everything in one place: a preview link so you can see the finished site, a walkthrough on connecting your domain, a link to start hosting with me if you want to, and a link to download your website files. The files come in a zip, and they might look a little scary if you're not used to seeing website files, but that's completely normal, and they're yours to keep.

Edits after launch

Once your website is done and i've sent you your files, changes are paid edits, and i quote each one upfront at somewhere between $49 and $500, depending on what you need. You'll pay through a Square invoice before i start, and standard turnaround is 3 business days after payment, or 24 hours if you add rush for an extra $99. You can send a request anytime from the Edit Request page. If you'd like regular changes without getting a quote every time, ask me about retainers.

Billing

All billing goes through Square. Hosting is $19.99 a month, or $219.89 a year if you'd like to save $19.99, and it's set up as a Square subscription that renews on its own until you cancel. Your hosting billing starts when you sign up from your "website is done" email. The custom contact form add-on is $5 a month and only comes as a monthly charge. Everything one-time, like edits, rush fees, and other add-ons, is paid upfront with a Square invoice.

If you stop paying

If a hosting payment fails or gets missed, you'll get a 7-day grace period, and i'll send you friendly reminders during that time. If it's still unpaid after 7 days, your site goes offline until it's paid, and you won't be billed for any new month or year while it's offline. Your files are still yours the whole time, and once you're caught up, i'll bring your site back online.

Canceling

You can cancel hosting anytime, because there's no long-term contract. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so on the monthly plan your site stays up through the end of that month, and on the yearly plan it stays up through the end of that year. i don't give partial refunds for unused time, except in a few situations that are spelled out in my Terms. If you want your site to stay online, move it to a new host and point your domain there before your hosting ends.

What if i want to leave?

You can leave whenever you want, and i won't hold anything hostage. You already have your files and you own your domain, so all you have to do is point your domain somewhere new or park it at your registrar. Any web host that handles plain HTML sites can host your files, and there are plenty of them out there.

What i fix for free, and what i don't

While i'm taking care of your hosting, i fix these for free, because they're my responsibility:

  • Your site goes down because of hosting.
  • Your SSL security padlock expires.
  • There's a bug in the code i delivered.
  • A contact form i set up stops working.
  • An edit i made breaks something.

These aren't covered for free, because they're outside of my control or they're new work:

  • Problems with your domain account or the DNS settings there.
  • Forgetting to renew your domain.
  • Outside tools changing on their end, like booking apps, Google reviews widgets, or social feeds.
  • Changes someone else made to your site.
  • New content or new features, which are paid edits.

If something isn't on the free list, i'm usually still happy to help as a paid edit, and i'll quote it first.

i handle every site myself, so i can only take on so many at a time, and that's why there's a waitlist. i'm still figuring out how many sites i can comfortably handle, so i'll keep updating the expected wait as i learn, and i'll always be honest with you about where you stand.

i'm just opening the waitlist, so i don't have a real estimate yet, but i'll share one in your position emails as soon as i do.

After you join, i'll email you a link to my intake form, and once you fill it out, you're officially in line.

Joining the waitlist doesn't cost anything, and all four fields are required.

This is where i'll send your intake form and your waitlist updates.

If you don't have one yet, just put your name.

A few words is plenty, like "mobile dog grooming" or "family-owned pizza place."

Notes on the comparison chart

  1. Wix's Light plan is $24/mo on monthly billing, which Wix shows at checkout rather than on its pricing page. It drops to $17/mo if you pay for a full year upfront.
  2. Wix says sites "must run on Wix's servers."
  3. Squarespace exports some content to a WordPress‑format file, and some content doesn't export.

Prices are from each company's public pricing page in October 2026, in US dollars before tax, on month-to-month billing unless noted. Wix also has a free plan that shows its ads and uses a Wix web address, and Squarespace has a 14-day free trial. Prices change often, so check each company's site for current pricing.
